Snax Box # 090 Trees On My Waffle

I gave the kids the gardenia blueberry waffle.  Cut them into half and divide into two snack boxes.  I used cheese to make two trees for lil princess and put some 'stars'  on it.  The yellow star food cup contains of some cornflakes and honey stars.  Her dessert was a marshmallow, strawberries and a tiny cherry tomato.
With the left over cheese, I was only able to cut one more tree for lil prince and two tiny stars.  He also had some strawberries & cherry tomato.  The smaller food cup has some cornflakes and honey stars as well.

I bet the first thing that they eat in this snack box are the stars!  Coz it taste like sweets to them :P

Snax Box # 089 Veggies N Fruits

The theme for Monday was Veggies N Fruits ^__^.  As soon as the kids were taking their afternoon nap, I prepared their snack box for Monday.  I boiled most of the veggies.  I gave lil prince broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn and some cherry tomatoes.

For the fruits food cup, I packed some mini green grapes and strawberries.  Lil prince loves to eat mayonnaise.  In order for him to eat his veggies, I gave him some mayonnaise sauce for him to dip.  I told him it's like eating his fries with tomato sauce :)

I love this snack box as it's so colourful....I have green, white, orange, red and yellow!
Hopefully no Monday blues for him :P

Our Experience with Huggies Dry Pants

When my lil princess started walking, we realized that it was pretty difficult for us to wear her diapers as most of the time she would struggle, turned around and stand up.  That was when we started using diaper pants on her which was much easier and convenience.  One of the brands that we have tried was Huggies Dry Pants.  It is an easy-to-use option for active infants and toddlers.  You just need to try it and you’ll see how easy changing can be when all you need to do is just pull them up, tear and go!
Huggies Dry Pants has soft stretch sides to provide better comfort and help prevent red marks even when your baby is on the move and a quick lock system to help stop leaks.  When we started potty training on our lil princess, we use the huggies dry pants on her.  It was easy for us whenever we want to bring her to the loo, we just need to pull it down and wear it back if it was still dry.  On certain occasion where she had ‘accidents’, we just need to tear, change and go!  Just like the saying in Bahasa Malaysia “ Koyak, Salin dan Lepas!”

We love to use diaper pants whenever we go out as it was very convenience for us.  We no longer need to look for a baby room to change diapers for our lil princess.  We can change her diapers  anywhere, just find a corner where there are not many people.   The most important factor of using the huggies diaper pants was that it help to prevent diaper rash for my lil princess.

I love this photo from huggies, must teach my lil princess to this stunt!  So cute!

Snax Box # 088 Mini Cream Puff

On Tuesday,  I only need to make one snack box for lil prince as my lil princess was required to bring a cake to school.   She was going to have cake party activity.  Hence, I went to the cake shop to buy her a piece of cake and at the same time I bought some mini cream puff for lil prince.

I place two tiny "hearts" on top of the mini cream puffs as I felt that they look a bit plain ^__^.   I use my heart food cup to put two tomatoes and a strawberry food cup for the tiny red strawberry.  What I like most about today's snack box is the biscuits :P.  A friend of mine gave me this smiley face pineapple biscuits during CNY.  I think it's super cute!  Looking at the biscuits already makes me happy!  For the little space in the middle, I squeeze in the butterfly marshmallow.

Snax Box 087 Green Butterflies ^_^

Helloooo....how was your weekend?  Hope all of you had a good rest!
For Lil Prince
Last week I went to pasar malam and bought the green tea cheese cake and today I made GREEN butterflies for the kids ^__^.  Put some cheese at the corners of the butterflies and also some sprinkles (the pink and purple small dots are sprinkles that we use to put on cupcakes).

I gave both of them some grapes, strawberries and added some honey stars.  To accompanied my green butterflies, I also added a butterfly marshmallow.
 For Lil Princess
I saw these mini grapes in the market last weekend and I love the size of it.  They are smaller in size as compared to the normal grapes.  I felt that it is suitable for my kids as I don't have to cut them into two.  It fits perfectly in my snack box.
Wishing all of you a great week ahead!

Kid's e World @ The Gardens

This was a back dated post.  We went to Kid's e World during the school holidays last year.  Kid's e World was located at The Gardens.  This is place is really every kids dreams.  It was our first time there.  Kid's e World has a state-of-the-Art Play Land and a lot of specially patterned Toys in Motion.

We went there together with my neighbour's kids.  The entry fees during school holidays was RM 50 per entry.  I almost hesitate to go in at first but the PIC told me that I can opt to buy the weekend voucher instead.  It was RM100 for three visits (valid for three months).   If you go during weekdays, it's cheaper (RM30 per entry).  The first time, lil prince went alone and during our second visit, we brought along our lil princess.

Personally, I like this place a lot.  It is clean and well maintained.  As for my lil prince, no doubt that he absolutely adores this playland.  We spent almost five hours inside.  The kids really had a good exercise because all of them fall asleep on our way back.  While the kids had a good time playing and running around, we the mummies also had a good time chit-chatting.

Here are some photos taken on that day.

Huggies Upcoming Roadshow

Although both my kids have been potty trained, you will be surprised to know that we are still using diapers for them.  Currently my lil prince is using huggies dry pants and lil princess is still using Mamypoko but they only use it for night time.  We were so afraid of washing our bedsheets in the middle of the night as there has been several occasions of 'accidents' happened at night.  We had to wake up at wee hours in the morning to clean our kids and wash our bedsheets.  Hence, it's better to take precaution as I will not risk my beauty sleep again ^__^.  Last year December we started our potty training with lil princess and I hope I will have time to blog about it soon :P.

For your information, Huggies will be having a roadshow next week. The “Huggies Dry Pants: Change for Better Convenience” roadshow is happening from 25 February 2013 to 3 March 2013 at Mydin USJ.  There will be live performances, special promotions, giveaways, games, magic tricks and activities to keep you entertained.  Do bring your families there for a fun-filled Huggies event.  You may also get some free samples of Huggies Dry Pants and lots of chances to win goodies!
